TKM sells 30,360 units during the month, taking its January-October 2026 sales to 3.25 lakh units, up 3% over last year
Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) sold 30,360 vehicles in October 2026. This included 29,521 units delivered in the domestic market and 839 units exported. While the company hasn’t shared October’s year-on-year comparison, its numbers for the first ten months of 2026 show a 3% increase in total sales.
From January to October, Toyota sold 3,25,274 units, compared to 3,15,716 units during the same period last year. Domestic sales grew by 4% to 2,99,140 units. Exports, however, slipped 8%, with the company shipping 26,134 units against 28,378 units in 2025. The domestic market has clearly done the heavy lifting here. The additional sales in India have helped Toyota post an overall increase despite the drop in exports.
Domestic sales now make up the bulk of Toyota’s business in India, accounting for over 90% of its cumulative volumes. The 4% increase is a positive sign, though the overall growth remains fairly modest. The fall in exports has certainly taken away some of the gains made in the domestic market.
