Mahindra Scorpio-N Edition One Spotted, Gets New Grille And Wine-Coloured Cabin

The festive special edition brings cosmetic changes to the popular SUV, including a redesigned front grille, exclusive Edition ONE badges and burgundy leatherette upholstery

Mahindra appears to have something special planned for the Scorpio-N. A new Edition ONE version of the SUV has surfaced on social media, revealing a series of cosmetic updates that give it a different look inside and out. The changes are largely concentrated around the front grille, exterior badging and cabin upholstery, while the familiar engine and transmission options are expected to continue.

The most noticeable change is at the front. The standard Scorpio-N’s vertical chrome grille has been replaced by a horizontal multi-slat design finished in gloss black. Each slat gets segmented chrome detailing, creating a layered appearance, while a horizontal chrome strip runs across the upper section. The lower air intake follows a similar multi-slat theme and sits above a matte-black skid plate.

The Twin Peaks logo remains prominently positioned in the centre. The Edition ONE branding is another distinguishing feature. Special badges finished in dark chrome are positioned below the ORVM mounts on the front doors, with another badge placed near the base of the rear quarter glass, close to the tail-lamp assembly.

Inside, the Edition ONE gets a wine-coloured leatherette finish in place of the standard tan-and-black combination. The upholstery features vertical stitching on the seat cushions and backrests, giving the cabin a more distinctive appearance. Dark dashboard elements and black door-card trims complement the new upholstery.

The equipment list includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. The SUV also gets a surround-view camera setup, described as a 360/540-degree system, along with a blind-view monitor and an underbody terrain view.

The Edition ONE is listed with the familiar 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre mHawk turbo-diesel engine options. Depending on the variant, buyers can choose between rear-wheel drive and Mahindra’s 4XPLOR four-wheel-drive system. Manual and torque-converter automatic gearbox options are also part of the package.

There is no indication of mechanical changes, with the Edition ONE appearing to focus primarily on visual differentiation and cabin appeal. Mahindra has yet to announce its pricing, availability or the variants on which this special edition will be offered.

For Scorpio-N buyers, the new edition adds a more distinctive appearance without suggesting a change to the SUV’s established powertrain lineup. Whether it will be offered in limited numbers or become a regular part of the range remains to be seen.
