The upcoming line-up will include the Scorpio Lifestyler pickup, the production version of the Vision S and the BE 07 electric SUV
Mahindra has confirmed an aggressive product plan for the first half of 2027, with three new passenger vehicle launches scheduled by June. The line-up will include the Scorpio Lifestyler pickup, the production version of the Vision S concept and the BE 07 electric SUV. The company is also preparing a new light commercial vehicle and an update to an existing model, taking the total number of major launches planned for the period to five.
The confirmation came during Mahindra’s Q2 FY2027 results media briefing, where Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director and CEO of the Auto and Farm Sectors, said the company was expecting five major launches in the first half of 2027.
The first of these new products is expected to be the Scorpio Lifestyler, Mahindra’s lifestyle pickup based on the Global Pik Up concept showcased in 2023. The model was unveiled in August 2026 and shares its body-on-frame underpinnings with the Scorpio N. Mahindra has already indicated that the pickup will be priced below Rs 19.79 lakh (ex-showroom), with its market launch expected by April 2027. It is likely to use the Scorpio N’s 2.2-litre diesel and 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engines, although the final powertrain specifications are yet to be confirmed.

The production version of the Vision S concept is also expected by June 2027. This will be the first model based on Mahindra’s new NU_IQ modular platform, which was previewed through the Vision series of concepts in 2025. The new SUV is expected to sit above the XUV 3XO in Mahindra’s range and will compete in the sub-four-metre SUV segment. The NU_IQ architecture has been designed to accommodate multiple powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, hybrid and electric configurations. However, Mahindra has not yet confirmed which engines will be offered with the production-spec Vision S.
The third model is the BE 07, which will become the next addition to Mahindra’s electric SUV portfolio. It will sit above the BE 6 and use the INGLO electric platform that already underpins the BE 6, XEV 9e and XEV 9S. Recent test mule sightings suggest that the production version is progressing towards its launch. Details such as battery options, range, power output and pricing remain unconfirmed.

Alongside the product offensive, Mahindra is increasing its manufacturing capacity to meet demand. Its combined monthly SUV and EV production capacity stood at around 68,000 units at the end of September 2026. This is expected to rise to 82,000 units by March 2027, comprising capacity for 70,000 ICE SUVs and 12,000 electric SUVs.
