Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition Launched With Bronze Accents And Rear-View Camera

The new accessory package gives Mahindra’s rugged SUV a distinctive black-and-bronze treatment

Mahindra has introduced the Bolero Bold Edition in India, giving its long-running utility SUV a cosmetic makeover with bronze exterior detailing, special alloy wheels and updated cabin upholstery. The package also adds a rear-view camera, addressing a practical feature requirement for a vehicle that continues to focus on functionality. The Bold Edition is a dealer-level accessory package rather than a new variant with mechanical upgrades. Mahindra has not announced its price, so buyers will need to check with dealerships for the additional cost and availability.

The most noticeable change is the bronze treatment applied to several exterior elements. The front grille, bumper detailing and fog lamp surrounds get bronze accents, while the roof rails, outside rear-view mirror caps and side cladding follow the same theme. The SUV also gets bronze-finished alloy wheels and special Bold Edition badging. These additions give the familiar, boxy Bolero a different appearance without altering its basic design or proportions.

Inside, the package brings black leatherette seat upholstery with bronze accents and edition-specific floor mats. The rear-view camera is the more practical addition, helping drivers when reversing and parking in tighter spaces. The existing 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the rest of the standard equipment remain unchanged. The Bold Edition is primarily about visual personalisation, rather than a substantial cabin or technology upgrade.

Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition

The Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition continues with the familiar 1.5-litre, three-cylinder diesel engine producing 76 PS and 210 Nm of torque. It is paired with a five-speed manual gearbox, with power sent to the rear wheels. There are no reported changes to the engine, transmission or drivetrain. Buyers should therefore expect the same basic driving character as the standard Bolero, rather than any performance improvement.

The Bolero’s appeal continues to lie in its straightforward mechanical package, upright design and utility-focused approach, particularly for buyers in rural and semi-urban markets. The standard Bolero range is priced between Rs 8.57 lakh and Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
