The 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition is available with both manual and automatic transmission options with the 4×2 drive system
The 2026 Toyota Fortuner Leader Edition has been launched in the Indian market. It has been introduced in 4X2 MT and 4X2 AT grades at price points of Rs. 36.51 lakh and Rs 38.72 lakh, respectively. Both the prices mentioned before are ex-showroom. The 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition bookings will commence from Oct 12 at Toyota’s official website and all the company authorized dealerships across the country. The Leader Edition will be available in Super White, Platinum White Pearl, and Attitude Black colour schemes in India.
First things first, the 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition gets plenty of visual enhancement elements and latest features while retaining the same engine. Some of the key highlights include signature front grille design, black rear door garnish, gloss black alloy wheels with matching hub caps, black roof treatment, and a black-finished antenna. In addition, the SUV also boasts of dual-tone black roof, body side mouldings and the exclusive hood emblem.
Inside the cabin, there is a dual-tone black and maroon seat upholstery, matching black-maroon door trims, ambient lighting, and illuminated scuff plates as standard fitments. Furthermore, a couple of noteworthy features onboard the 2026 Fortuner Leader Edition include Auto Folding Outside Rear View Mirrors (ORVMs) and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

Toyota Fortuner is available with flexible finance programs which include up to 7-years of EMI and Toyota Smart Balloon Finance. Customers can also opt for value-added services such as Extended Warranty and Toyota Genuine Accessories. The Japanese brand has also rolled out a comprehensive package comprising five years of complimentary roadside assistance, a standard 3-year/100,000 km warranty extendable up to 5 years/220,000 km.
The Fortuner has been on sale for more than 15 years in the Indian market as it is the highest-selling full-sized premium SUV in the country. Toyota has retailed over 3.3 lakh units of the SUV in the Indian market till date, which is way higher than any of the other models in the segment. It directly rivals MG Majestor, Jeep Meridian, Volkswagen Tayron and Skoda Kodiaq in India.
